Disclaimer: These guidelines are subject to change at any time, and are not set in stone. If you feel that you can convince us to relax them in your case, give it a shot... but don't expect to succeed.
How to be considered
- Read these guidelines.
- Send a proposal to us via e-mail, explaining the topic you would write about. If you happen to have a completed draft, we'll be happy to read it along with your proposal - but don't assume that we'll be publishing it.
- Once we've received your article, we might ask you to make additional changes. More likely, our reply will include the launch date of the article and a request for profile information. If we accept your submission without providing a launch date, you can assume that your article is a second choice being kept "in reserve" in case our first choice is unable to meet deadline.

General guidelines for submission
We would love to consider your article or piece of art if you kindly understand and comply with following few guidelines as of this writing.
- Introduction: A brief summary of the article, and the points made therein
- Body: Point-by-point discussion of the topic or topics addressed by the article
- Conclusion: A brief discussion of questions that need to be answered by the reader, and predictions that might be called for as a result of the points made in the body of the article
- Citations and endnotes In some cases, it might be advisable for you to provide anecdotes or other information that is meaningful but will complicate the clarity of your submission if it is included in the body of the article. In such a case, you should provide a numbered endnote.
- If your article contains links, or meaningful opportunities to include links, verified URL's should be included at the end of the article. For an example of usage, consult the end of any chapter in the Yale C/AIM Web Style Guide (http://info.med.yale.edu/caim/manual).
- File formats: The preferred submission format for articles is Microsoft Word format, as created by a Microsoft-branded application. In the event that you are unable to meet this preference, you may consider sending us Rich Text Format (rtf) which is supported by Word pad or like. If nothing else, send us in notepad format (txt).
- We will accept articles in the body of an email, or in snail mail the address of which shall be provided in Contact Us page.
- Images: Images submitted to support a written article should be created with due attention to optimization. If possible, the bandwidth load (copy plus all of your provided graphics) for your article should be kept to less than 60K.
