Born Free Foundation's Poster Campaign

Zoos are widely considered as places of entertainment and education. But what is the price of the diversion and what is being taught? Denver, Colorado-based Extra Strength Marketing Communications addressed these questions when creating this campaign for the Born Free Foundation. Instead of preaching to the audience, by appealing to people's basic emotions, the posters allow viewers to make intelligent decisions about the humanity of zoos. The photography, by Britta Jaschinski, quietly captures the essence of the message yet speaks volumes about the conditions forced on other species in the name of entertainment.
